Welcome to FBC Warrensburg!
We realize that for some, your first time at a church can be uneasy or confusing. However, we want for you to relax and enjoy our friendly, warm atmosphere where we aim for everyone to feel welcome. At FBC Warrensburg you can expect an energetic worship service that typically opens with contemporary music followed by relevant teaching from God’s Word.
Our PurposeOur vision is to worship God by following Him in His mission to fill the earth with His Glory, accordingly, our mission is to partner as a family, in the Holy Spirit, to make disciples of Jesus Christ who make disciples. |
About UsFBC Warrensburg is a multi-generational church body. Because we’re located in a region rich with university students and staff, as well as military service members, our congregation includes some who geographically come from across the nation and around the world, while others are life-long natives in the community. |
When are your worship services?
Currently we have a discipleship hour at 9:00am and one worship service at 10:30am.
A list of the groups that meet during the discipleship hour is available at the Welcome Center.
Where do I park and enter building?
Our primary parking and main entrance are on the west side (at the back) of the building. Once inside, you’ll find the Welcome Center where members of our Guest Services Team will be happy to help you navigate the building and answer questions.
What should I wear?
At FBC Warrensburg we’re concerned with your spiritual walk and meeting real life needs more so than what anyone is wearing. Most of us will be dressed casual and comfortable in jeans, though some opt for a more traditional, dressy, Sunday attire.
How do I get acquainted with others there?
The heartbeat and lifeline for people in our church family are Gospel Communities. These are groups of Christ followers on mission with God in obedience to the Holy Spirit that demonstrates tangibly and declares creatively the gospel of Jesus Christ to a specific pocket of people.
Most groups are comprised of 12-14 people who meet in homes throughout neighborhoods in our community and the surrounding areas. They meet monthly for a meal and discussion of God’s Word, then weekly in smaller, gender specific groups for deeper discussion and prayer. You can get connected with a Gospel Community by emailing Jeff Gray, our Lead Pastor, at jgray@fbcwburg.org

Do I need to volunteer?
While volunteers are at the foundation of how ministry happens every week at FBC, we want for you to get acclimated and learn about the various ways you can serve as part of our church family. Once you’ve become familiar with the environment, we hope that you will check out all of the opportunities to get connected through serving.
